While this team is not as talented as some of the teams in the recent past,
they are as good as some of the teams that have won the C-USA championship.
The weaknesses of this team are more apparent because C-USA is a lot
stronger conference this year!
While we may bemoan this fact now, it will ultimately make UC a stronger
program. The bar has been raised this year. The benefit to UC is that the
stronger conference will create more exposure which will bring in greater
talent. There will be better competition through conference play leading to
better preparation for tournament time.
Yes, it is hard to see UL, Marq, and Memphis all having better years than
us; but I believe it is preferable to when we would win the conference with
a team as talented as this year's.
Next year when we win the C-USA championship, it will mean a lot more and
set us up for a deep tourney run.

They suck! They have NO heart. Three missed dunks! Massies
backs them down into the paint with no resistance! Aaaaaaah.
19 point loss - when the hell have you seen that with a Huggs
team. It has been a while.
I give up, there is no sense in worrying about this, they are
toast. Bring on Soccer and Golf - Screw the Cats! I am done.
Andy - see ya next fall...

I'm still watching and its 51-40. Can anybody on this team make a f**king
shot. Memphis is on a 19-4 run and we have one field goal in the last 10
minutes. So team is so pathetic offensively. Maxiell is like 2-15.
Didn't there used to be a guy named Stokes on this team. Another
episode of
RUN AND HIDE for Lennie.
Turn out the lights, the party is over.

Damn it Mark! You have challenged the woof gods with your
halftime comment - cut it out! At least you have to watch
the second half now. We have your house wired and will
know if your turn the game off early. The web cam is on

The Cincinnati Bearcats defeated Memphis on Saturday night by a
halftime score of 29-27. Memphis missed a last second shot that
could have tied the game at the break.
Tony Bobbit lead UC with 10 points, although he took 3
ill-advised shots. Taron Barker was scoreless once again, but UC
overcame 25% shooting to get the win.
I'll read the final score in the paper tomorrow.
