OK, to add to this question from a week ago, what would
the forum be saying if UC was a lock for a 1 seed and
then reeled off 4 loses in 5 games? I could just hear it.

On top of the loses, UL looks like they just lost Ellis
Myles. That will really kill them. The CUSA tournament
is now wide open with Marquette as the odds on favorite.

If they get knoecked off that would be great, but maybe
UC can knock them off (provided they do not lose to an
also ran in the first round ;-) )

I really think UC HAS turned the corner too, I just do
not know which corner or if they are just circling the
block ;-)

UC were to have been ranked #1 with a win and they end up
losing a game, win one and then lose two straight? That is
what "might" happen to UL today.

I can read the forum posts right now - Huggs can't coach
offense, he drives them too hard, he is a poor recruiter,
they can't match up...

Indeed, this is a crucial game for the psyche of the UL team.
Lose and you have to question yourself.

The sad thing is that if UC had held serve against The Elves
and St. Louis, they would be in great position for the title
again. Now that that is gone, they can look inside themselves
and see if there are hearts in there or just a bunch of nothing.
If there are hearts inside them, I fully expect them to lay it
on the floor today and win the game.

I taped the last two games, I will have to not do that, and I
may have to wear shorts to the game to change up too ;-)
