The worst thing about this is if they did talk to the media then Daugherty
would probably be writing about how the players are hypocrites for only
talking to the press after a win and not after a loss. I was happy to see
them be consistent.

In regards to the UC players not talking to the press, Daugherty in today's
Enquirer stated:



In the big scheme, what they're really doing is stiffing their fans, who
might like to know how the players feel about a big win. If stiffing their
fans is OK with the UC players, their coach and their athletic department,
swell. If you want some player wisdom regarding Saturday's game, call the
Bearcats basketball office, sports publicity office or the athletic director
and have them track some down for you.



Sounds like sour grapes to me.  I certainly don't feel stiffed.  Matter of
fact, I kinda like the players stiffing the press.
