On the post game they said it was the loudest that the Shoe has
been this year. I would say that the student section on the
south end was louder than I have ever heard it. Great game,
right up there with the best in the Shoe.
I said before the game that the Big-12 refs might be an
advantage for UC - since the CUSA guys screw them so badly ;-)
Liked early on when Victor Williams jumped backward into Stokes
there was no call - obvious verticality violation. Also noticed
that the Dark haired ref blew ever pro UC call in the first half
except for a palm and on foul by the young guy. Very interesting
if you watch who calls which fouls.
Bottom line they played through it and played harder, and won
the game. Hopefully they ride this quite a ways. I guess Digger
"the Jackass" Phelps amde some comment about this could help UC
get into the tournamaent. Right, where are they in the RPI? If
they get either Marquette or Louisville, they should get a decent
seed (6 or better).
Will the Cats move from the women's crew locker room up to Mens
Soccer now ;-)

That win was as big as they come. Maybe we can breathe a sigh
of relief about possibly not making the big show. OSU was
actually tops in the RPI before the game.
What a difference, our guys actually getting to the rebounds.
Maybe Depaul and Marquette were tougher than we thought.
It's important for a team to learn how to play and maybe these
guys have made some strides in the past couple of weeks.
At the least we can lose that feeling of a condemned man reaching
for his last cigarette. The main thing we want is to play hard.
What a great feeling to actually be coming up with loose balls
and rebounds.
think they can make an NCAA run
