Mick,

Dayton did not do all of the "allowing", I think that the men
in stripes had a lot to do with it. There were so many bad
calls it was amazing. They missed, 3 second, hand checks,
blcok/Charge, shot blocks called as fouls... You name it
they screwed Dayton big time.

For UC this game did not really matter, but I would have
rathered UD win the game.

Now on to Sunday to see if UC can play well against another
legitimate top-10 team.

Instead of "Ring of Red" games, why not designate even games
as Red and Odd games as Black? The game number is on the
ticket and you could print it on there too.

Just a thought that many of the red sweaters do not have email
so how would they know what is going on?

It is Marcus Camby Syndrome. The A-10 did the same for him while at
UMASS. If they have a big man they will protect him as much as they can
because they can get a guy on the All-American 1st team or possibly the
Player of the Year from their conference. As a UD fan (grew up in
Dayton) I am pretty pissed off about this game. Of course, UD still
allowed West to score almost 50 points on them. Either way, the A-10
needs to stop protecting their top players and start calling the games
how they were meant to be called. This isn't the NBA and David West is
not Michael Jordan.

Andy,

I'm watching the game and I have had the same thoughts. I hope the refs
are
as generous at Dayton.

Anyone watching the Xavier/Dayton game. West is getting every
call you could imagine. he just lowered his shoulder, nails Finn
and Finn is called for the foul! The A-hole announcer said
something about him lowering his shoulder to get that separation
and then Finn fouled him. HELLO, LOWERING YOUR SHOULDER AND
PLOWING INTO SOMEONE IS A CHARGE!

Argh - have the refs lost their minds this year? Chalmers is
also putting a full palm on the stomach and the guy drives,
they call no foul.

Why do the refs follow the rules so loosely?

Huggs was at teh Moeller/St. X game last night...
