What give me that idea is the fact that Huggins alluded to it on his show Sunday, specifically saying that the coaches had talked about going small with Stokes moving to the 4, stretching defenses out and shooting a lot of 3s.
But if they were implementing such a plan, I don't see why Bobbitt would leave since he would seem to get more time under this scheme.

I agree about the possibility of there being other issues, but I doubt it.
What leads you to believe that Huggs is even considering the idea of moving
Stokes to the 4, and Max over to the 5? I would love to see that, but I
have seen nothing to support the idea. Had they been moving in this
direction, I think Bobbit would not be leaving because of PT, if indeed that
is why he left.

I disagree. He was going to get plenty of time next year. There is no reason
why he could not play plenty of minutes alongside Field. I was looking
forward to the possibility of seeing Field, Taron, Tony on the perimeter
with lenny and mAx at the 4 and 5. The timing of this just doesn't make
sense. The quotes in the article about how he is very angry but wouldn't
discuss why with his father is a little strange. If it were solely an issue
of playing time why wouldn't he tell his father? Maybe he is dealing with
other issues beyond his PT. Either way, with very limited options (i.e.
transfer to a DII team) I see him asking to come back in the very near
future. Doesn't help them tonight though.

How exactly was he going to make something of his career at UC? He has 2
years, so does Field Williams. Field also had 2 years prior service. Do
you think Bobbit was ever going to see any significant time honestly? I
think he is just frustrated, and rightfully so, he made a bad choice in
comming to UC, I hate to admit.

The Post says that Bobbitt has left the team, and frankly I am extremely mad
at him! Huggins always seems to take people back after little mental lapses,
but I am not sure I want him back for this stunt. At least when Eric Hicks
left it was during some "dead time" of the Christmas break that he was using
to sort things out. And remember he is a true freshman, not a JC player with
only 2 years at a school like Cincinnati to prove himself and make something
of his basketball career.
I was thinking maybe we had a 25% chance of pulling an upset of Louisville
tonight, and Bobbitt could have played a significant role in that. The wide
open game that Louisville can get into would seem ready made for some
Bobbitt 3's at some point in the game. He has completely shown his selfish
character and lack of concern for the team at their most crucial point in
the season.
I don't think we need this kind of selfish guy and "split personality" as
his friends have described around. I had been hoping for some leadership
even out of him next year, yeah right.
