It does describe the Marquette game last year, and those were my final two
choices. I went with the UMass game because they were #4, and UC was still
the up and comer at the time. I showed up not expecting to win. Against
MU, I expected to win. It was just a different part of the Huggins era, and
perhaps I am just waxing nostalgic, but that UMass game was special to me
for some reason. Not sure if I can put my finger on it.

Jon,pulling
I think your description below fits both the UMass game and last year's
Marquette game equally well.
"Electric crowd start to finish".
"Excitement of opening up a huge lead, having them come back, but then
it out over a top team was huge."Marquette
"Even during the loss of the lead, the crowd was crazy loud."
Sounds just like last years Marquette game doesn't it?
I was at both games, and both were great, but my vote went to the
game.years
Here's hoping that Saturday's Marquette game comes close to matching last
game.what

game (ever) at the Shoe. Others may disagree, but the excitement of

ShoeThat is why I voted for the UMass game.

where
I know the poll is already up and running, but I wanted to mention a
couple of more that should have been contenders, IMHO
The victory over UNC-Charlotte circa 1998, Ruben Patterson takes last
shot, someone else puts it in?
The loss (yes, losses can be exciting) to Xavier circa 1997, the one
Charles Williams dribbled the ball off of his foot, X then makes last
shot.
A victory over Rhode Island, Michael Horton has an excellent game.
Another poll question to have sometime is most exciting Bearcat games
during Huggs era, no matter where they are played.
