RE: Press is back? And how did Hicks look?

UC did probably press more tonight than they had in any other game this
season. Hicks looked good in there tonight. He had a couple nice
dunks. I was actually a little surprised that Huggins sent Hicks in at
all this game. Must have had a couple good practices earlier this week.
Flowers did not play tonight. I know Huggins said he wasn't 100% for
the Miami game, so I wonder if he was injured and unable to play
tonight.

Chadd Moore looked great tonight. I thought he looked a little nervous
at the start but settled in nicely halfway through the first half.
Moore is very very quick, not only in driving to the basket, but also on
the defensive end with his hands. As expected, Moore did make some
expected careless mistakes in passing the ball, but I liked what I saw
out of him tonight. I would assume Moore goes back to the bench once
Barker is ready to go again, but I think Chadd can get the starting job
with a couple more good games. My pre-season prediction of an end of
the year starting lineup of Moore, Williams, Stokes, Max, and Hicks
could be a reality.

Max played very well tonight. He was very aggressive on both ends in
grabbing rebounds.

This team will probably struggle at times in the conference games, but I
think come March, this team will be ready to play with anyone.

Subject: [UC Basketball] Press is back? And how did Hicks look?

Sounds like UC used the press a bit tonight, forcing 31 turnovers.
Also, it sounds like Hicks finally got some quality minutes. How did he
look? Postgame comments from Huggs are coming soon.
