Don't they take off for wrong answers still? I thought that was why you
started with 400 - so you could not get a negative score.

Nope! You actually get 400 points for just filling out the title/header
information with you name, address, telephone number, univeristy of
choice,
etc. This is the same for the ACT test also. The minimum you can get on
the ACT is a 6 or 8 if you just fill out the title info.

400 is the score you get if you answer no questions. I believe you get
a
zero if you answer them all wrong!

At least that is how I remember it.

PS - Did I read correctly - the lowest "acceptable" score for recruits

the SAT is about to be reduced to 400 (or the score you get for

every answer WRONG!)?
