LIVING HERE IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA NEAR WASHINGTON, DC, THERE HAVE BEEN MANY
NIGHTS WHERE I TURN ON WLW TO PICK UP THE BEARCAT GAMES. IF IT IS CLOUDY
OR
RAINY, I CAN'T PICK IT UP IN THE HOUSE, SO I'LL RUN OUT TO MY CAR IN THE
POURING RAIN TO TRY MY LUCK ON THE CAR RADIO. I JUST TELL MY WIFE I'M
RUNNING UP TO THE STORE TO BUY A LOAF OF BREAD.

I like that James. :-)

In the mid 1970s, when the Cats were on WCKY, I often drove miles to a
remote, high point of land that jutted out into the ocean in order to get
the game. Nowadays, I sometimes climb up on a slippery ladder in order to
melt the ice off of my satellite dish with a hair dryer so I can get the
Cats. Nice to know that my rational behavioral patterns have remained
unaffected by technological advancement. :)
