Dan...I agree with Richard K. to some extent, but also agree with you. I
don't believe that most of the "Reds" could stand for most of the game
because of their ages. Nevertheless, a little verbosity wouldn't hurt.
Polite clapping is reserved for old-time tennis matches.
I AM a doctor (Dentist) and whether I'm in my car (in NY) listening
to the Cats on WLW (through tons of static) or screaming like an idiot at
Franklin Field (UC-Temple) and, hopefully, at the Meadowlands against Oregon,
I'm a firm believer in verbal commitment!!! My wife doesn't understand it,
but my 3 sons sure do!! A fan is a fan, whether old or young, and should not
have to act professionally at a sporting event...even the demeanor (polite
clapping) at the Forest Hills tennis matches is passe, as the fans don't have
to hold back at the US Open, and don't!
