BSD Article

There is an interview with Huggs in the latest BSD about this
year's team. I liked his comments about Barker:

"T. Barker's body fat is way down, and he's been working hard.
He's by far the strongest point guard we've ever had. I haven't
seen the open gyms, but I know his attitude, his demeanor.
He's been in the weightroom, being a positive influence on the
other guys. It's night and day from where he was a year ago."

That is kind of telling. Logan was an extremely strong point
guard and Barker is by far the strongest ;-) With the quickness
of his hands and feet, he could be something else this year.
It would be great if he hit some more from the outside, but
even without a ton of points, he could be pretty good.

Now for the other pieces to fall into place. Land coming back...
Huggs says that he feels Land is the most deserving player
for a sixth year. How great would that be? Gene comes
back for two more years...

I am feeling that this year could be something pretty good.
Huggs has a very strong team top to bottom, the only real
question is the 5 spot. If there is any production out of
that spot, look out. I will miss seeing the center fumbling
the ball, tipping it away from his teammates... ;-)

Not to mention the Lady Cat's having a killer core coming
back. This could be a great year to be a Bearcat fan.
