Also, they did offer him a partially guaranteed contract. That is better than just about any 2nd rounder. I think he should get what he thinks, but if he does not get into camp soon, he will so screw himself out of any good future possibilities. Agents are scum.
Get into camp Steve! the offer's not worth holding out for. Think of your long term best interests versus short term!

Previous articles have said he is trying to get a guaranteed contract like the first round picks get, since he was the first selection in the second round. But I assume if he sits around for a week at this time of year, his chances of playing will greatly diminish.
I've always felt the rookies should sign and >play< their way to a bigger contract. If you're good, someone will notice.
