Re: Huggins released from hospital

I heard some info - not from anyone official, or even from someone at
UC. The rumor is that Coach Huggins had to be shocked with a
defibrillator in the airport in Pittsburgh and again at Beaver
hospital. If he hadn't been somewhere where a defibrillator was
available, he would probably have died.

His heart is reportedly very "stiff" and is pumping only out only 20%
of what it is supposed to be. This may account for the "significant
damage" comment. This can heal, but if not, he will need a
defibrillator implant.

My source said it was 50-50 on whether or not it made sense for him
to coach again.
