Bruce,
I'm not going to get into a 'debate' over this. ;-) Your body has but 'no
choice' for it to work. It's not a 'diet'......I have never once thought
about it being a diet. Someone can 'look' like they are in tip top shape.
There was a guy that worked out with me at a Moore's some years back. The
guy was a 'natural' body builder.....completely. He was what you would see
in these men's health magazines, 'looked' very healthy.

Too bad that his 'insides' weren't as healthy as his 'outside looked'. I'd
watch him a eat candy bar, two or three of them a day along with his 'super'
chocolate malts from UDF, he would tell me. He was a meat and potato kinda
guy <----that was his favorite, followed the 'food pyramid' and ALWAYS
talked about it( how good he ate). He certainly 'walked his talk' and vice
versa.

He was 45 yrs. old when he freeking dropped dead of a massive heart attack,
there was no one around to help him like there was Bob. :-( I'm not the type
to try an impose what I believe in on someone if they aren't willing to
listen, I don't resent someone because they don't do (G&V) what I
do........I feel sorry for them......but it doesn't upset me.

My buddy that died, I would tell him and tell him, but he 'chose' not to
listen. I mean, hey......he 'looked' better than I. On the outside.

Big breakfast of bacon and eggs and gravy, dinners of lots of meat and bread
is what my buddy ate, he would eat the 'fine' foods, I'm sure alot of the
same as Huggs. When me and my Dad were at the W.Va ( I think this was the
one) at halftime they presented some awards. When Huggs was out there, I
told my Dad "look there's Huggins" he said "that isn't Bob" ....I said "yes
it is, you'll see". Of course, they then introduced Huggs and my Dad
laughed at me. But I told my Dad something that day when Bob was getting
that award. I hadn't seen Bob in that kind of dress in a while. I told my
Dad, and I promise you guys....word for word. "If Bob doesn't start making a
lifestyle change in what he's eating, he won't live to see fifty three".

My Mom and Dad were the ones that called and told my wife what had happened
to Bob, and in turn, she told me because I hadn't heard. My Dad said "well
Gregg, you just about called that one". I don't tell you this to impress
you, but to 'impress upon you' that it can happen to any of us if we aren't
careful with what we eat.

If you are going to eat meat (which I don't make a habit of) ....but if you
are, as soon as you're done, take a couple of big swallows of apple cidar
vinegar right after it as soon as possible. It will 'big time' break down
the meat and lessen the carcinogenic affect, I forget how it was explained
to me what happens when you do this, but it is very beneficial to you after
having a hamburger or steak.

There are plenty of sites on the internet about garlic and vinegar. But
don't buy into the 'just take a clove a day' theory, I mean, anything is
better than nothing. But don't think you are going to get tremendous health
benefits compared to someone that eats three quarters of a head a day and
apple cidar vinegar two or three times a day, because that just isn't the
case.
