Did anyone else get to Indy? Yao Ming could be awesome if he had the drive to be better but I doubt it.
Other than they did not have enough consession areas ( lines took an quarter and a half). It was great. While in line I was next to Mark Cuban. A really nice down to earth man who you would never guess is a millionaire. between him signining autographs we had a nice conversation. I felt like I known him for a long time.
After the game I met Kelvin sampson, Mike Montgomery and Greg Popovich at a Fancy Hotel restaurant where TNT's Craig Sager was getting plastered bugging the hell out of this gorgeous blonde. I said "Hey Kelvin" like I new him. I was in a zone. All those coaches were alot shorter than i expected.
After seeing the Wine list in Shula's Steakhouse ( with those prices, no wonder he can retire) we decided that's too much for a guys night out so we went to Hooter's where else, where we once again encountered a staggering Craig Sager. Then I saw my friend look up. I turned around it was Dirk nowitzski and a girl . People ran up to him for autographs he was by our table and sat down to sign them. We ordered him a drink and he sat and chilled with us for the whole night. We talked about everything it got to a point where we forgot he was there sometimes. He told me about a skirmish between Nickey van exel and shawn bradley . it was hillarious.
Some of you guys live in cities with pro teams and may do this all the time but this a new one for me. Between Cuban and Nowitzski, I feel I could move to Dallas because I already have two good friends their ... so it seems. Two really down to earth guys
