Great Point!

What's odd is that last year we had an SOS of 23... got a 1 seed, and
didn't fair so well.

Does this mean, our weak schedule didn't prepare us?
Or a SOS of 23 isn't that good?

Or(IMHO), that just like Zuke says....we faced "whatever Mack
truck(UCLA) is coming down at you."

It really doesn't make that big of a difference, at least for UC, they
always give us a tough path...(homer speaking:)

Dan

Strength of schedule, who cares? We've discovered in recent years
unless
you have a number one seed in the tourney it doesn't make much
difference.
NCAA is basically luck of the draw after the first round and in many
cases,
even in the first round. It's a bunch of "fury about nothing". Why
even
concern ourselves with it. Come March you gotta lace up your sneakers
and face whatever Mack truck is coming down at you. The less time you
worry about "strength of schedule" and "good seeding" and the more time
you concentrate on acquiring the guts you are going to need when the
going
gets tough the better off you will be psychologically.

Later,

Zuke
