I agree.  One word can explain why Max is a Wooden candidate.. Potential.  
Nothing personal Max, you could develop into an All-American, Huggins says 
so.  But Stokes is the most experienced of the 'Cats.  He's got potential, 
but not as much as Max, considering he is going to be a Sophomore (in the 
eyes of one of our beloved pseudo-analysts).  Stokes is the leader, the UCLA 
game is an example ( boy, did he have himself a game).  But if Stokes wasn't 
picked, then neither should Max.  Right now, I can't see him turning into a 
dominant post threat, I mean he's got his sweet turnaround and his dunk off a 
miss ( and what a dunk!!!), but that's it right now.  He isn't Danny Fortson 
(even he wasn't the primary option his sophomore year, and I think both these 
seasons are comparable).  So until he develops some more moves, I can't see 
why he'd be the first option, as Katz says.
