OK I'll bite...

B.J. - had the skills, just didn't have the will power...not a bust more of
a splat
Flowers - If not for being sick last Dec./Jan. would've seen more minutes.
Look for him to do very well this next year.  He is a good rebounder.  No
bust here.
Little - Being an idiot has gotten in the way of his ability.
Dontonio was one of the best performing freshmen that UC has ever had.
Definitely not a bust.
Williams - was never heralded as a recruit.  Just a fill in and so there was
nothing to bust.
Land - Saddest story of them all.  Again, Physically, not a bust, just
mentally.
Harper - Victim of UC's newly found sense of ethics.  Still a great player.
Just watch this year.
Wright - A savior??  Don't remember him thought of so highly, if so then
maybe a bust.
Satterfield - Hardly a bust.

Most of these guys are to varying degrees, head cases who had great skills.
Hardly makes them busts.
Was Flint a bust when Huggs made him play point and then he got turf toe?

I don't really question your point that players don't always stand up to
what we are told to expect of them but your whole point about Chadd being
the bust because "he's lost it".  I only saw him ranked very high before his
sophomore year in Athlon magazine, once.  After that he consistently was in
the top 50-75, which is where he landed.  But your right, a kid usually
peeks in his skills right after his freshman year in high school.  

I think that this thread has lost it's legs...




I'd be willing to put a lot of money that at least one of our four highly
regarded recruits this year will be a bust.  I mean, it's not like it's
never happened before, for example players just on this team alone such as
B.J. (7-foot monster), Flowers (the greatest high school rebounder Huggins
has ever seen?), Donald Little (uh, where do I start?), and also in years
past such as Dontonio Wingfield (the highest ranked recruit ever for
Huggins), Charles Williams (what a fiasco), Eugene Land (probably the most
intense recruitment ever for Huggs, X is looking pretty good right now),
Jerome Harper (somebody chime in with that story), Marko Wright our savior
at PG (practiced one day?), Satterfield (Mr. clutch and I'm too good for the
college game), etc. etc.....

By the way, if Hicks comes dressed as a cheerleader, I'll recant and make
him my bust, he came pretty close anyway.
