I'm going to make this sound like an "I told you so", but I was very high on
last years team early because I knew they were going to be good, and they
did have one of their best seasons despite the second round loss.
LOL......I'll also add, seeing your above statement. I said that I didn't
see the Cats loosing more than 5 or 6 games. And I feel that way this year
also. :-) Huggs has this program to the point that he reloads every year.
It doesn't matter who he loses from the previous roster and I feel very
fortunate and VERY happy that he decided to stay at the University of
Cincinnati. Coach has unfinished business to accomplish and that it to bring
a national championship back to Clifton. Everything always seems to be
stacked against this program, be it........playing ACC schools with their
refs (which sucks, but we still win).....and the usual tough seeding that
this school seemingly continues to get year after year in March. I swear it
seems like a conspiracy, I mean that half jokingly, but also.....that is
what seems to happen.
But one year, it WILL HAPPEN.....and all the pieces will fall into place,
and it will be payback to all the freeking Huggins naysayers. That will make
it that much sweeter IMO. :-)
