RE: AWOL???

I missed the alumni game this weekend but was surprised by the final score.
Did we really play that badly?  It seemed like we had a decent squad of
players.  Based on the number of points they scored, I guess the defense
would not have been up to Huggins' standards.  Buford looked pretty old in
the highlight I saw of him.

I'll be at the games on Tues eve and will try to give a full report.

I'll break away from the other comments on BJ and say: I'm not sure if
BJ is too big.  I'm of the opinion that BJ simply doesn't get back quick
enough on Dee.  If losing weight would help this problem, well...great.
But I'm not sure if a lighter Grove would get back more quickly. Watch
the SL games over the next few weeks and offer your thoughts.

I wouldn't be surprised if Flowers, Hollman or Lucas show up late in the
SL 'season', or maybe they are playing in SL's closer to home.

(Its always basketball season in the home of...)

I was disappointed when I saw how big he was too... when I saw him in
the middle of the spring quarter he looked to have dropped quite a bit
of weight... now all of which appears to be back. BJ just straight up
disappoints me I guess.

The highlights I saw from last night on TV showed BJ playing. Big news:
He is still fat. They showed some players duck taping his shorts around
him. I don't know why, maybe the elastic ripped out. I don't know about
the other guys. I would not go by those rosters. They are always
changed. I am sure some of those guys are plyaing if not most.
