Scholarship question

Brian,

Thank you for your recent reply regarding scholarships.  I have an
additional question.  How did UC give Rod Crawford a scholarship last year
and it not count against the 5/9(8) rule?

Also, where is the 5/9(8) rule for next year's recruiting?  Is it still at 9
so UC can sign 4 recruits or has it reverted back to 8 and we can only sign
3?
