Did anyone notice Shaq when he reached around McCullough (sp?) and
bear-hugged him to get to the ball and instead of a foul, he got a jump ball
?!?!!! How does any ref come to that conclusion??? Also did anyone see
when Jason Collins was basically slammed to the floor by Shaq and Jason was
called for under-cutting Shaq??? Truly amazing how he gets these calls.

I agree. If Kenyon can nail that 15-18 footer consistently, it'll
make the
Nets that much tougher to stop. As Bill Walton put it, the Lakers didn't
even have a guy within 15 feet of Kenyon on the offensive end.
He did play pretty well in the second half although it seemed like
the
entire team was somewhat shell-shocked about the whole thing. They did have
their chances in the end, just couldn't convert. I'm sure they'll be fine
for Game 2. Jason Collins actually did a decent job on Shaq there in the
end.

Did anyone else watch the game last night? I saw the first foul call on
Kenyon and was concerned. He was kind of standing in a defensive
crouch and Hory runs past and they make a slight contact, Hory goes
into acting mode and was near death on his fall to the floor, whistle.
During most of the game, they blew a lot of late whistles (i.e., the ones
where the incident is over and the star did not make the shot, and the
whistle blows then) where Kobe and Hack got a bunch of calls. It will
be a tought series for the Nets, because they are going to have to get
hot from the floor and line.
Kenyon needs to slow down a bit and make better moves to the hole.
He can out maneuver a guy like Hory, but he goes to fast. If he works
on his outside shot, he will be very difficult to stop.
