I see everyone else's points, but I agree with Brad's views more! I
would like to see Huggs come out and dispel the rumors that will
inevitably be all over the Internet...

I don't think Huggs is doing this to hold UC hostage at all.  I just
think,
if he is not planning to leave UC, then he should avoid situations like
this
that are going to put him in this type of controversial position. 

Mr. McCann stated, Huggins and UC has very close ties to the Denver
organization, AND they are looking to hire someone with NBA experience.

So, WHY can't Bob just come out and dispel all these rumors with a
statement
saying he's not interested or is not interviewing for the job.  He
always
beats around the bush on his comments.

As a PR professional Brian, wouldn't it just make sense for Bob to cover
his
bases here with a clear cut no-nonsense statement like this.
