I was looking at the box score of the Nets/Celtics game tonight and
notice that Paul Pierce was held to only 4 free throws attempted, so
you guessed it, I had to see how that stat went down during the
series:
Att Att Att
Game Pierce Boston NJ Winner
-------------------------------------------------
1 13 29 28 NJ
2 20 36 34 Bos
3 15 39 18 Bos
4 15 34 29 NJ
5 12 27 37 NJ
6 4 22 30 NJ

I did not see the game so I would like to know why Pierce only shot
4 FTs? What the hell is up with that? Was Kenyon on him. It looked
like Kenyon missed a bunch of shots, do we have a game reporter?

Now the question is who will the Nets play and will Kenyon be enough
to draw you into the games?

The Nets are really quite a story. They have reintroduced the NBA to the
concept of "team" basketball. I think I heard correctly that the Nets are
the first NBA playoff team in history without a player in the top 50 in the
league in scoring. The rest of the NBA doesn't quite know yet what to make
of this team; if they did, Jason Kidd would have been the MVP.

If you have a long-standing dislike of the NBA, watch the Nets in the
finals and then next year (they should be on a lot more). I'm not saying
it's the same as college basketball (the most exciting sport on Earth), but
it is refreshing, and you'll enjoy it.
