Women Beat Louisville

The UC women's basketball team advanced to the semifinals of the C-USA
Tournament this afternoon by beating Louisville, 80-70.

The Bearcats rallied from a 45-36 halftime deficit and they trailed by as
many as 15 points in the first half.

Debbie Merrill led the way with 31 points while Valerie King added 26.

UC faces second seed Houston on Sunday at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
