...the more I realize how huge it is for this program, CUSA and even Logan.  A big win in front of a national audience could do wonders for all three.  I envision Stevie going out with 50+....

For CUSA,

another marquee game at the shoe for all the marbles.  A good showing by Memphis could put them back in the dance, even if they lose.  I have also been hearing a lot more positive comments lately after the Marquette game, so another one like that would be big.

For UC,

a possible #1 seed and all that it entails, and some serious momentum for a run to the championship, not to mention the recruiting implications.

For Steve

a shot at improving his status as POY and making the tournament decide it instead of having it already decided beforehand.   Also, passing Fortson for #2 at UC and #2 in the league.  Does he still have a shot at the #1 spot?
