Rich...C'mon...based on what I've read throughout the years Mike, myself, 
James Christy, and Bruce were all there during the Jucker and Baker years. 
Who can forget Ron Krick, Don Rolfes, Fritz Cunningham, Roland West (who 
scored 35 in the first half against Wake Forest,,,and finished with 39), Ken 
Calloway, John Howard, et al.

I remember when Jucker was hung in effigy near the Armory Fieldhouse because 
the "new breed" of student resented his "Power Basketball" slow down 
philosophy and wanted UC to fast break during their 14-12 season ('64-65).  I 
recall his resignation and how the campus was elated to have Tay Baker take 
over as coach forgetting that in FOUR years Jucker won 2 Nat'l Championships, 
lost 1 in OT, and had one lousy year...a severe case of WHAT HAVE YOU DONE 
FOR ME LATELY?

Richard, you may be the senior citizen on the forum but the generation gap is 
not as great as you think.
