Possible Fruit, Probable Recruit

There are credible rumors about that the Tangerine Bowl may be looking at Conference USA to fill a spot opposite an ACC team in this year's event.  I am not sure of the details, but I understand it has something to do with bowl ineligibility of its usual field of choices.  If true this would certainly juggle the CUSA bowl priority picture especially if UC were to win out.  Would we be obligated still to accept an offer from the Liberty Bowl?  Would you rather drive 4 1/2 hours to Pontiac or fly to Orlando?  How many people would we bring to Florida vs. Michigan?   What would... you get the picture.  I will try to get more information, or maybe someone else is in the know.

Reliable sources report that the Cats have received or are about to receive a verbal commitment from Highlands offensive tackle, Jeff Reinstadler (sp).  I believe he goes about 6'5" and 285.  Cincinnati outdueled Clemson, UK and Auburn for the northern Kentucky star.

Look for UC to strongly contend for Holmes High's standout linebacker James Jackson.  Already at 6'2", 230 and a 4.6 forty, Jackson has the size and speed to contribute at the division I level.
