Very poor performance today. 20 TOs. 26.5% FGM. 65% FTM. Need to find their swagger again.

Congrats to Sean Kilpatrick who has been named a finalist for the Oscar Robertson National Player of the Year Trophy by USBWA.
Gunner Kiel is UC Bearcats' No. 1 quarterback - for now
Tom Groeschen reporting that RDAIV has been moved to the slot receiver position and Rod Moore has moved from DB back to his original position of RB.
The United States Basketball Writers Association named Mick Cronin as a member of their Coach of the Year watch list yesterday.
If Cronin were to win it would give UC two winners. Ed Jucker won it in '63
The list consists of: J Beilein, Mich; T Bennett, Va; L Brown, SMU; J Crews, SLU; M Cronin, UC; B Donovan, UF; S Fisher, SDSU,G Marshall, WSU; G McDermott, CU; J Wright, VU.
Spring ball starts today. There does not seem to be much excitement due to the success the bball team and the lackluster end to last season.
Oh well....it is what it is.
The only thing that matters is winning the game 212 days from today. They can lose every game this year except that one and I will consider the upcoming season a success.
From the Enquirer article about the new capital campaign, it looks like there are no plans to update or replace 5/3. To quote the article:
"After years of new buildings – including the current $86 million expansion of Nippert Stadium – UC will instead focus its spending on people, Ono said, calling that the legacy he wants to leave. The only bricks and mortar project in the plans Ono is circulating are for a student success center in a remodeled building somewhere on campus."
God I hope that's a wrong or misleading quote. Everybody was so happy when we got out of that craphole downtown and moved to the shoe. I went to almost every game we played there, and I am not sure I could stomach going there again. I hate that d@mn place. I understand that another source of funding, specifically private sources or borrowing could be used for 5/3, but the tone of the article makes me think there may be more to moving downtown than just initial explorations. Oh, and if true you can count me out on the capital campaign this time.
